Day 1: Arrival at Delhi - Transfer to Haridwar
Upon your arrival and meet and greet with our representative in Delhi, you will be transferred to Haridwar by road. Haridwar is a famous pilgrimage holy city that has religious signi cance, as this is the point where the holy Ganges (after completing its course of 310 kms - from its source at Gaumukh) emerges from the Himalayas to begin its slow progress into the Indo-Gangetic plains in North India for the rst time in Haridwar. The main ghat 'Har ki Pauri' (footsteps of God) is supposedly the precise spot where this happens. Thus the river's power to wash away sins at this spot is superlative and endorsed by a footprint of Vishnu left on a stone here.
Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. In the evening, visit ashrams and temples - Mansa Devi and Chamunda Devi. Later witness the evening Aarti of the Holy River Ganga. This aarti is a beautiful ceremony in which deeyas (the oil lamps) are offered to God. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Notes: Also, note that most of the temples do remain closed between 1200-1700 hours. There are temples at each place which remain open throughout the day, so please schedule accordingly and check before visit. Moreover all activities/sevas/pujas do get altered or not available in festival times, so exercise caution.
Day 2: Haridwar Local Sighteeing
After breakfast this morning, head out for some local sightseeing in Haridwar. Visit the local temples, i.e. Daksh Prajapati Temple, Anandmai Ashram, Parad (Mercury) Shivling in Kankhal Region, Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi (both by ropeway), Maya Devi, Pawan Dham, Bhuma Niketan, Parmarth, Bharat Mata Mandir, Shanti Kunj, Saptrishi Ashram and others. and do some shopping before evening aarti on the ghats of Ganga. Overnight stay at your hotel in Haridwar.
Day 3: Transfer from Haridwar to Nainital
After breakfast today, check out from your hotel in Haridwar and get ready to start driving towards Nainital - located amidst high ridges and thickly clothed in forest of pines and deciduous trees. The popular hill station of Nainital is a scenic wonder that attracts tourists from around the world. You should go bird watching, boating in Nainital's placid lakes, or go on a fun wildlife tour. Nainital is also famous for its magni cent vantage points, from where you get to take in the panorama of the valley.
Upon arrival in Nainital, check in at your listed hotel and get comfortable. Spend the rest of your day in leisure. You could choose to go for a stroll on Mall Road later in the evening. Overnight stay at your hotel in Nainital.
Day 4: Lake Tour of Nainital
On this day, set out on a lake tour of Nainital. You tour includes Naini Lake, Sattal (a combination of 7 lakes), Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal (lake with 9 corners), Land Ends and Ti n Top. Go boating on Naukuchiatal Lake, Naini Lake, Sattal and Bhimtal (at your own cost), before you proceed to famous view point Ti n Top (AKA Dorothy’s Seat), located at an altitude of 2292 m. Just a few kilometres from here and you'll come into yet another view point called Lands End. This route takes you through woods of pine, deodar and oak. You can hire a pony if you don't wish to walk. Also go shopping in the famous Bhotia markets. Your evening can be spent at leisure. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay your hotel in Nainital.
Day 5: Transfer from Nainital to Mussoorie - Half Day Sightseeing
After breakfast today, check out from your hotel and hit the road to Mussoorie 'Queen of the Hills' Mussoorie. The gorgeous green hilly terrain, with its varied ora and fauna, and majestic views of the Shivalik ranges and Doon Valley, attract thousands of tourists to the hill station of Mussoorie every year.
Upon arrival in Mussoorie, check in to your hotel and get comfortable. Take the time to relax and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit Kempty Falls, one of the best attractions of this hill station. Renowned as one of the most striking water falls in Uttarakhand, Kempty Falls are encircled by high mountain cliffs and are located at an altitude of about 4500 feet above the sea level. The Kempty Falls offer a remarkable view as the water falls from a great height and then divides into ve streams.
Later visit Gun hill - second highest point in Mussoorie. From this point, Mussoorie appears to be changing colors in every minute. You can take the cable car that starts from the Mall and goes up to Gun Hill, enjoying the mesmeric views of the Himalayan peaks and a bird's eye view of Mussoorie.
In the evening, spend time around Mall Road for some shopping. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mussoorie.
Day 6: Transfer from Mussoorie to Corbett
After breakfast today, check out from your hotel in Mussoorie and hit the road to Jim Corbett National Park. This unique tiger territory is best understood as the father who gave birth of the Project Tiger in India to protect the endangered species of the Royal Indian Tiger. In the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett National Park is fabled for its tiger richness and is the oldest, most prestigious National Park in India. The park was named after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who spent most years of his life in this area and helped set up this park.
Upon arrival in Corbett, check in at your listed resort and get comfortable. Your evening is free for checking out Garjia Temple and Corbett Falls. Overnight stay in Corbett.
Day 7: Transfer From Jim Corbett National Park To Delhi
Early morning, go for a jungle safari in the National Park(at additional cost on direct payment basis). Return to your resort for your breakfast. Freshen up and get ready to drive back to Delhi Hotel Sarthak palace
Day 8: Full Day Delhi Local Sightseeing
Enjoy your breakfast today before we start another adventurous day. We’ll go around Old Delhi and New Delhi, starting with the historical Red Fort.
The Red Fort Complex was built as the palace fort of the new capital of the fth Mughal Emperor, Shahjahanabad, in 1546. Tour around one of Delhi’s oldest forts, Purana Qila, which has a citadel built during Humayun and Afghan Sher Shah Suri. Many believe it is the former site of the ancient city of Indraprastha. The Qutub Minar which is India’s tallest minaret located in the oldest forti ed city of Delhi, Lal Kot, was built between 1199 and 1220.
After touring the famous old forts of Delhi, we’re going to visit the Chandni Chowk Market where you can shop of clothes, books, and many other items at bargain prices! After getting all your needs, we’re going to India Gate which is a war memorial to 84,000 soldiers that died during the First World War. The foundation stone was laid on 10 February, 1921. We’ll make one last stop at the Laxmi Narayan Mandir which is where Vishnu’s incarnation, Laxmi Narayan, and his consort Lakshmi, resides. It was completed in 1939 and is about three-storey tall.
After the tour, we’ll drop you back at your hotel in Delhi for your overnight stay.
Day 9: Half Day Delhi Sightseeing - Departure from Delhi
Enjoy your breakfast today before we check-out. We’ll go around Old Delhi and New Delhi one last time before leaving the city (if time permits). We cover Lakshmi Narayan Birla Temple, President House, Parliament House, India Gate, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple (Closed on Monday).
We start with a visit to the Laxmi Narayan Mandir which is where Vishnu’s incarnation, Laxminarayan, and his consort Lakshmi, resides. It was completed in 1939 and is about three-storey tall.
Visit the Parliament House, also known as Samvidhan Sadan, not forgetting to adhere to the strict rules whether you’re visiting the upper or lower houses. Then make a meaningful stop at Rashtrapati Bhavan which is the President’s House. The main building has 340 rooms including the president’s o cial residence and is surrounded by presidential gardens. It is the world’s 2nd largest head of the state residence with the rst being in Italy. Don’t miss out on the India Gate which is a war memorial to 84,000 soldiers that died during the First World War. The foundation stone was laid on 10 February, 1921.
The Qutub Minar which is India’s tallest minaret located in the oldest forti ed city of Delhi, Lal Kot, was built between 1199 and 1220. If it’s not Monday, we can also enter the magni cent Lotus Temple that’s become an icon, constructed with 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals”. The temple welcomes anyone of any religious to gather, worship, and chant scriptural writings regardless of language.
After the tour, we’ll proceed to transfer you to the airport or railway station by nighttime, so make sure to have booked your ight or ride at the appropriate time. We know you’re heading back home with smiles from the awesome experience of this trip!
